Avalonia's Programs
High-Risk Boys 12-21 is our focus…
At Avalonia, we believe that all youth,
especially those at high-risk deserve an opportunity to grow into self-reliant
individuals. Our highly successful program and specialized behavioral
management approach can help your child discover a healthier attitude
and begin to make more positive choices in his life.
We are not a boot camp
In our view, your child needs a nurturing environment. We provide a safe,
secure setting where he can grow and discover himself. Although our program
will challenge him to change and become more self-disciplined we don’t
believe in breaking him down. We want to connect with him and establish
trust so he accepts our guidance.
Your child is a special individual
Most of the young men we treat exhibit similar characteristics like:
- Defiance
- Physical Aggression
- Acting-Out
- Lack of respect for authority figures
- Running-Away
- Verbal Profanity
We take an individualized approach to your child’s
treatment. We believe that he is not inherently bad, and that we can make
a difference by tapping into his strengths and guiding him in the right
direction. We make no assumptions about your child, except we believe
that you care for him deeply and only want what’s best for him. With
over ten years experience and a proven track record, we can provide more
than just hope. In fact, we have established a reputation with our ability
to recover even the most difficult, aggressive, and defiant youth.
Dedication and teamwork is our secret to success
While many other high management residential intervention programs use
medicine to control your child’s aggressive behavior, we do not.
We want your child to face reality and meet his behavioral problems head-on.
Our program is intensely structured See Activities and we rely on a dedicated,
professional, trained staff to monitor, intervene, encourage and counsel
your child 24 hours a day, around-the-clock.
We value your privacy
Our staff is available and happy to answer any questions or listen to your concerns. All correspondence is kept confidential.
